At Interloop, we champion the transformative power of sports as a cornerstone for enhancing well-rounded community growth and nurturing talent. We believe sports are integral to developing competitiveness, inspiring youth, and building a more inclusive and vibrant society for all.
Our dedication to sports initiatives extends across diverse communities and disciplines, creating a meaningful change.
- Wheelchair Cricket: Pakistan Champions League (PCL): We proudly champion adaptive sports, reaffirming our commitment to inclusivity and community empowerment. The 2nd Interloop Pakistan Champions League 2024 (PCL), organized by the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council (PWCC), showcased 80 talented players across 6 teams at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. This edition marked a landmark for wheelchair cricket in Pakistan, with professional broadcasting and live streaming expanding the sport’s reach and empowering talent beyond physical limitations.
- Supporting Blind Cricket: Interloop has been a dedicated supporter of blind cricket since 2014. We sponsored the 4th Blind Cricket T20 World Cup 2024, organized by the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC), which brought together teams from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Nepal, and Afghanistan. This historic tournament culminated in a thrilling final where Pakistan proudly secured their first-ever Blind T20 World Cup title.
- Women's Cricket Championship: 2nd Women’s T20 Cricket Championship was organized at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, bringing together players from various clubs and communities. Interloop team also participated, showcasing our commitment to promoting healthy activity and female cricket skills.
- Strategic Partnerships for Girls' Empowerment: Through a two-year strategic partnership with the Karishma Ali Foundation (KAF), Interloop is empowering young girls in marginalized communities across Chitral, Gilgit, and Quetta. This collaboration provides opportunities for 1,000 female athletes to engage in football, table tennis, and volleyball. Beyond sports, the initiative fosters leadership, resilience, and climate advocacy through programs like 'Play for the Planet'. It also includes mental health support and education on gender-based violence, contributing to the holistic development of these young girls and driving significant social change.
- Women in Football: We sponsored Kayanat Bokhari (Kaya), a Dutch-Pakistani professional footballer and advocate for women’s sports, during her impactful visit to Pakistan. Through partnerships, we supported her participation in the National Women’s Football Club Championship and her organization of training and mentorship programs for young female talent across the country, actively promoting gender parity in sports.
